Food & Company combine the love of cooking with the scenic surroundings of the Lake District, capturing the essence of fine Cumbrian food with friends.
The one day cookery courses are held from early Spring to late Autumn in the Garden Hall, a converted 16th Century barn, in the grounds of Mirehouse near Keswick.
In 2021, we are hoping to hold the Christmas Food & Flower Afternoon Programme and also the Christmas Garland Days. Dates for these courses will be posted on our website, together with email notification in September 2021.

Courses cover different topics using seasonal local produce wherever possible. There are plenty of opportunities to sample and taste the dishes prepared during our informative and practical demonstration. Our aims are to build confidence for beginners and widen the knowledge for the more experienced food lover.
Each course ends with an opportunity to relax with an aperitif and enjoy the atmosphere with new friends over a freshly prepared, buffet lunch. An ideal holiday experience!
